Default Attaching Rotary to 2017 RedSail Laser

Just bought my second Redsail Laser, 100w 2017 model and wanting to put a Rotary attachment on it. I’ve been told there isn’t a port for this so what’s involved with getting this happening? It’s running RDWorks.

    thanks in advance

    Hi Ken,

I'm in the middle of adding a rotary to my Redsail CNC router RS6090.

There is a place to add the wiring if you open the cabinet. If you look on the circuit board to which the three drives connect you will
    see X Y Z...and yes a blank C axis.

You need to buy a stepper drive. and the rotary axis.
I also bought an aviation GX type connector to go through the cabinet wall.
Your laser may already have a knockout on it.

I looked at those before I went with the router, as I do mostly 3D work.

What software did it come with for the computer to feed the machine?

I have heard that you can't add a rotary axis to these controllers, and you have to swap out the y axis. Maybe I am wrong.
