Need spares for a Calcomp 1023 Plotter

Hi,

I'm an Australian artist, working on an exhibition
of drawings done with this old beast.

It's crashing on start with a (bd) error,
and I have replaced the x and y servos,
the paper load servo, the voice coil unit,
and that hasn't fixed it. If anyone can
tell me how to fix it I'd be eternally grateful.

If anyone has boards lying around I'm happy
to pay you for them, and give you a couple
of the drawings from the exhibition.

It does a turret init, loads paper, seeks edges and then crashes.
I spent $450 on pens, I really want to get this thing working!

I am also vector-artist running Calcomp plotter (model 565, from 1965).
Where about are you in Australia? I am in Mentone, a suburb of Melbourne. I would like to share your experience with 1023 before I buy one on Ebay.
