Ok, if you have X6 it can be assumed you recently acquired it and should have support from your source. Contact your rep.

Default Mach3 postprocessor for Mastercam X6 TROUBLE ??

    Hi all....
I've been working before w/ MC-X4 with the Mach3 postprocessor without any trouble ( aside of some code 18 )....

Now I've updated to MC-X6 with the available postprocessor ( same from mach 3 since many moons, same I had in on my old MC-X4) it seems not working for me...AND YES, I've updated the post through mastercam addin updater ( UpdatePost.dll)...

I'm getting some odd patterns out of it.
Same file tested on my old computer with same Mach3 and w/MC-X4 is fine.....

Can anyone come to my rescue ??
    Any thoughts ?
    Thanks, Robert

PS....I've also tried the MC-X6 generic post (generic fanuc 3x router), and same trouble....maybe my Mach3 set up ??
    Mach-3 version : 3.042.040 on Windows 7 ??

Maybe your machine definition is incorrect?

Is your CNC_machine file pointing to the X6 updated files ?
or to the old X4 post

sometimes when upgrading versions, it tends to hang onto the previous CNC machines that have the previous posts, until you actually re-select the latest

I think you may have to update the machine definition (MD) & control defin (CD) files as well .... check 1st

Would you please consider to post a MastercamX6 Lathe Post processor? The one that you have there was not compatible with mine, perhaps because I'm using a 64 Bit version!, Well, thanks in advance in case that you can help! and if not, thank you any way.

    Mark.
