custom thread
hi, does anyone know how I can get NX10 to simulate a custom thread?
when in Manufacturing section, the thread options are just standard e.g, depth, angle etc, but I am trying to programme a butress thread using a dnmg tip
I have written several programmes like this by hand, and just thought it would be quicker to get the software to do it instead as it takes a good few hours working out all the co-ordinates
thanks in advance

I don't think you understand what i'm asking
I have 25 years experience programming all different machines
I can programme custom threads manually
I am purely asking if there is a way i can do the same thing
Using NX10, and if there is, can somebody tell me how
