Torch offset height help required

Hi All.

I’ve recently completed my plasma cutter CNC machine. I’ve managed to home it on Mach 3 and tuned the motors to etc.

I’m a 3D design by trade so creating DXFs is not an issue. I’m stuck with getting the Torch end to raise up after it’s homed by touching the material surface.

I believe this is in the code? Can someone point me in the right direction as to what to do next? Also are there any cheap or free g code generating programmes out there to get this machine to behave the way it’s supposed to.
