    Default Laser Control

Does anyone have a wiring schematic for adding a laser to a cnc router.
I am running mach 3 which will probably be controlled via ttl to ground. I do not have an ethernet card so I believe pwm is not possible.
    I am running a gecko g540 card.

The ttl needs 5v which I believe I might have to supply that with a buckboard off the 48v power supply.

The only control I have over laser power is the hand adjustable pot which is used for focusing so I don;t believe I can do greyscale.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank

If you use Mach3 then you are in wrong forum. This is for PlanetCNC users.
With PlanetCNC controller you can use pins 1, 2 or 6 to switch laser on/off and control power.
