Hey Everyone. I'm new to the group and wanted some input. Is a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ good enough to run a Planet CNC control board on a mill? I'm building a CNC mill and starting out with 3 axes, but I plan to add at least a 4th axis and possibly a 5th axis to tilt the 4th axis for some parts that I want to make. I had a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB but my first Planet CNC board fried itself and the Pi when I entered the license and connected the USB. The Planet CNC guys said they'd send me a replacement board, but I need something else to run it. I have an older Raspberry Pi 3 B+, and on paper it looks like the specs line up just fine. The Pi will be dedicated to just running the mill so no background activity to cause distractions. Any concerns with this or should I just buy another Raspberry Pi 4? Thanks for your input.
