Re: Remaining distance
thank you,
Everything is OK and responsive as often.
I will have a few more settings window behavior questions a bit later.
Have a nice week end

Re: Remaining distance
However, I just discovered a problem with the latest version.
When I updated the app, everything worked fine. On the other hand after having switched off and then on again the Cn and the PC, I now have a licensing problem with my MK3 card.
When I go to parameter, TNG tells me a serial number 4459 while my card should have the number 10212.
What's going on?

Re: Remaining distance
Hello,
related to this: can someone explain what the coordinates in the "Operator" are meant for?
I was quite confused while testing the software the first time, but after a lot of trying around, to me it seems that the coordinates shown in this tab do not affect in any way the reference coordinate systems (G54, G55 and so on), nor the machine COS nor the work COS.
Is that correct? So they are meant for "local movement" checks?
Thanks for clarifying!
Best regards,
Johannes

Re: Remaining distance
Operator panel shows distance to least measure. Or you can set/reset it by hand.
This is mainly used when you operate machine manually by jogging and/or when you position workpiece.

Re: Remaining distance
Great, thanks for the explanation and quick reply. Unless I set it to zero manually, it will just be tool position wrt position when I set it to zero the last time. So if I place a few G0 commands in MDI one after the other, "Opeator" will always be in the COS from last time setting it to zero (and not with respect to last G0-command). Ok

Re: Remaining distance
This is true for red numbers. Blue numbers show remaining distance for executing line.
