setting up ucncv4 controller for 4 axis cnc,

I am setting up a ucncv4 controller for the first time, I have searched the documentation and the web but still have some questions on the wiring of the variable speed spindle motor. it has its own controller, I have an idea of how to connect the ucncv4 controller to the spindle but I can not confirm this before I apply power. Would appreciate any input from a UCNCV4 veteran.
