Hello Planet CNC Team,
I come back to a subject that has already been discussed, radius correction with functions G41 / G42 and also G41.1 / G42.1.
The last discussions date from 2019 if I'm not mistaken.
Have you made progress on taking these codes into account?

Is it necessary to take a particular action to activate their taking into account?
In my case I created a tool T1 in the tool table by indicating its diameter 10 and its length in Z, the program calls the tool, I carry out my approach and launch for example a G41 D1, it is not not enough?
I also tested a G41.1 D10 without success.
Another question, is it possible to manage several correctors for the same tool? No doubt by declaring another tool number with different offsets.

Good morning all,
I come back to you regarding my G41 / G42 radius compensation problem. I just re-tested and these G codes don't work with me.
Here is an example for the test:
O0001
N10 T4 M6 (Cutter D = 12)
...
...
N50 G0 X-30 Y-30
N60 G1 G41 X-15 D4 F800
N70 Y0
N80 G0 G40 X-30
...
...
Of course, I indicated 12 for the diameter of tool 4 in the tool table.
I have 2 phenomena:
- The radius correction is not taken.
- When moving in Y, the machine crashes after about 10mm of movement. In this case, the drive of the X goes into error. I have to restart the machine.
Does anyone have an idea?

There seems to be problem with certain lead-in moves. I'll investigate this

FYI, my machine is equipped with closed loop stepper motors. I don't think this should be related, but you never know.

Hello,
I downloaded the version of the software which dates from 02/12/2021.
My first test is mixed.
No more errors, the trajectory is corrected and the movements no longer crash the NC.
But, small problem, the G41 and G42 are reversed.
G41, which must be a left offset, sends the tool to the right of the profile. The problem is the same for code G42 (corrects to the left of the profile instead of the right).
Just a little more effort :-).
for information, my CN is a gantry milling machine 3 axes (for the moment).

Anyway, thank you for all your efforts and your wonderful NC card and software.
I made a follower who just bought you an MK3. I help him build his milling machine.
On professional NCs, we have the notion of wear on the tools. Will an evolution of TNG be planned to take its functions into account?
