Probe explanation
HI,
I would like to have an explanation of function of "probe".
There is 2 inputs for probe, one is mention to be for measuring tool lenght, other for stylus type probe.
My question is, can I connect to input "1" 2 probes fe. Tool measuring to have proper cutting depht - wont go in to table, and when changing the tool when diferent tool nedeed regarding diferent strategies (ruf, fine miling fe.) with fixing (like switch) offset measuring contact
As I can see the stylus tipe works oposite system ( disconecting contact) than tool measuring (conecting contact).
Or is this not possible?

I don't know if you I got your question correctly.
But you can use both Inputs for Probes. No matter what Type of Probe.
The type of the switch inside the probe does not matter.
You need to invert the corresponding port of the probe depending on if you use a normally closed or normally open type. Just ensure that the input is triggered correctly.

Both probe inputs are the same. There are two because you can use one inverted and one noninverted probe.

Sorry, maybe I was not precise,
I would like to use "probe 1" input for 2 diferent measurement, one is working Z ofset (normaly determinated with mowable sensor aka Pertinax plate) and when tool change.
Second input "probe 2" f.e. for stylus touch probe to determine edges or warp...
So question is, will input 1 work for both (at the same settings) since the definition for both measurement are diferent. Will the readings be correct?
I have see wideo on yt, but there user make 2 diferent settings, one for warp and other cutting reloading everytime when nedeed..

You can not combine a Normally Open and a Normally Closed trigger on the same Input.
Either you put them parallel, in this case only the normally closed would do anything.
Or you connect them sequentially and only the normally open will work.

On probe 1 connect all NO sensors, on probe 2 connect all NC sensors.

I understand that, but in my case "input 1" is NO in both cases. When measuring Z (by me is table) and tool lenght with fix sensor.
If that will be an option, then I can use "input 2" for NC f.e. stylus probe and don't need diferent settings to load every time.

Now I have another question, if I have already milled piece and want to add something on it, hov can I transfer data picked with "angle" (2 pick of X and Y axes) to workpiece?
Workpiece is someware off on the table, can be the data file alignet somehov to workpiece?
There was some tutorial abouth using movable sensor but I couldn't find it....I thinh is obsolete....

So you have a workpiece that you would like to additionally mill/engrave?
This workpiece is misaligned? You can use Measure/Measure/Angle feature in the output window the measure angle value will be disaplyed.
Then under Program/Rotate you insert this value under XY.
With Program /Shift you can then set your toolpath origin on the existing workpiece

For detailed explanation of Measure Angle procedure and Shift feature, please refer to latest user manual of PlanetCNC TNG software.
Document can be found in Doc folder of your TNG sw installation folder.

Another question: after update an error come out (or no error) in lowewr "output" pane when start software the "Toolbar CMD not found: 'Machine.Measure.Surface_Heigh' " apears...
anny idea? Otherwise seems it works ok (simulation mode)
