TNGv2 Comments being executed

Ok, this one really messed with my head for ages, but it appears comments are being executed if they start with a keyword. If you put the following code in a script file and execute it...

(print,test)
;clear the output log
;print,thisshouldntprint

You would expect the above script to simply print "test" to the output window. But it actually ends up printing "thisshouldntprint". Both of the comments in this script actually get executed as code.
