It seems that "Reverse" setting is ignored. I'll fix this for next version scheduled for this Friday.
However this should not affect operation, just display.
I'm having a problem getting things setup as I would like them on my screwcutting lathe with release version 2020-02-12.
Under Settings > User Interface > Speed:
Selecting From Index only displays spindle speed correctly up to about 350 rpm, at which point the reading freezes until the speed is lowered. Selecting From Encoder gives a good rpm reading up to my lathe's max speed of nearly 2400 rpm.
However, selecting From Encoder also results in a minus rpm reading (eg -1450 rpm) even if I try all Encoder/Synchronization combinations under Settings > Input/Output > Spindle, including selecting Reverse for Encoder PPR.
Everything worked OK under TNG v1
Thanks for looking.

What is your "Index PPR" and "Debounce" setting?
Index pulse is shorter than 1000us (debounce value) and filtered. Lower debounce setting or turn it off (set to 0).
