If you have only one controller then you need only one license. You can install it on all computers.
Hi,
I am in the early stages of setting up a small hobby cnc with the MK3/9, related hardware and TNG.
My goal is for the router to be used by multiple people in the family, but it is not always convenient to be "at the machine" when designing parts and writing code. In fact it is fairly inconvenient.
I was thinking of installing a copy of TNG on 2 or 3 desktops plus the machine so that everyone can play at their own schedule.
Is the easiest way to do this just to purchase a few copies of the TNG license?
Should I put the same MK3/9 number into all of them?
I don't have a separate cad program, so all design will be done "in the TNG software" if possible.
At this stage, a typical part will be:
- 18mm baltic birch
- 2 x 3 ft rounded corner rectangle
- Dado joints
- A few holes
I am sure that over time it will become somewhat fancier.
The system is just a simple 3 x 4 ft moving gantry cnc router with very simple rails.
Thanks
Harry
