Pin out of CTRL connector on MK3 and truth tables
Hello,
I have tried to connect some pendant I have on the CTRL connector of a recently purchased MK3.
I found out that the pins MD1 and MD2 , and also the AX1 and AX2 are not standard in terms of configured logic.
Please see the table attached.
Could you please provide the logic tables I should follow to wire my MPG correctly?
Should I use also the [EN3A/MD3, EN3B/AX3] for the 4th axis and additional modes?
I ask this because the configuration (MD1, MD2) = (HIGH, HIGH) and (AX1, AX2) = (HIGH, HIGH) do not configure any axis or mode! (or maybe I am wrong).
But a truth table that MK3 understand would realy help.
Apart from that, does anybody know if I should use all four pins (A, B, /A, /B) of my rotary encoder or only the first two?
Using only the first to (A, B) and leaving unconnected the long drive outputs (/A, /B) seems to work fine.

You should also use MD3 and AX3 pins for more modes/axes.
Mode (HIGH, HIGH) is "mode zero".
Axis (HIGH, HIGH) is "disable"

Thanks for the replies.
The exact configuration as I probe it is
Where 0 is GND and 1 is 5V from some pin on MK3.

Pins are pulled-up. There is no need for 5V. If you left pin unconnected then this is 1,
