    What is G41.1?

    Most controls use G41 D#

    There is a bug and G41 is not implemented in latest TNG version.

    And your motherboard has very, very big problems with noise immunity, why did you not do LAN in MK3 / 4? wanted to save money? very bad decision!

    I wondered what G41.1 and G42.1 were also.

    We are working with mathematicians from Irnas institute on new G41 implementation. It should be better that any other existing and will include advanced features such ad dogbones and start/end tangent for cutting internal shapes. And most important - no more non logical leadin/leadout moves.

    Regarding gerber files - this import module was never meant for pcb cutout. But I understand that keepout layer could be used for this and I'll try to add new "Cutout" option.

    @ger21
    G41.1 is from RS-274 specification (used in LinuxCNC). It is for cutter compensation with dynamic diameter. See this:

    I'd thought it's a postprocessor issue. The G41/G42 offset is a basic feature of control.

    The G41/G42 isn't needed in NC code if the software could calcualte the compensation, then the issue could be avoided temporarily.

    PlanetCNC. Still have a question. Why, after losing the connection, are the working coordinates reset, while all other coordinates are not reset? Can I make the working coordinates remain the same?

    what the heck is that?

    I just write Z10 (to move the spindle) and press the enter, and it will produce some garbage? before this was not!

    If you look to see the active g-code list .... G02 is active... it requires MDI code to perform an arc
    ... you need to add G00 to MDI input to place it in rapid.. or G01 for a linear feed move ie G0 Z10. or G1 Z10. F1000.
