Liniar scale for mk3/4?

Hello. Is it possible to connect a liniar scale to the mk3/4 card so that usb cnc gets the info where the milling table is from the scale instead of counting the stepps of the motor. The thing is that the screw that moves the table has different backlash on different places so it is a little tricky to controll.

Unfortunately you cannot connect linear scale to controller.
