Regarding diagonal shortcut keyboard keys:
This option will be implemented within next release.
Regarding two keys combo shortcuts:
OS interprets only two key combinations if one key is modifier key e.g. Alt, Ctrl or Shift
Lack of keyboard shortcuts
In USBCNC Controller v1 I was able to use a wireless number pad and map the keys accordingly [under Settings | User Interface | Keys ]
In TNG, I'm finding that I'm not able to map keys for diagonal moves (Axis A+B) since these options don't exist [under the Settings | User Interface | Shortcuts].
Is this something that can be added, or can I add them manually in the *.keys file?
Lack of key mapping
Also I can't seem to figure out how to map key combinations other than those that start with Ctrl, Shift or Alt. On my wireless number pad I don't have those keys and used to use the 0 or 5 key along with the arrow keys to STEP, JOG or ZERO axes.
V1 key mapping
TNG key mapping
How can I achieve this?
Otherwise, I'll need to revert back to v1.

Did TNG ever update to include multi key combinations that don't use Ctrl, Alt or Shift? V1 had this capability and it worked great.
TNG supports diagonal jog shortcuts.
