    Hello

I have a problem with my Maho MH300c, controller 432.
In the middle of the program, the machine stops and it displays error I62 (gear speed in undefined position)..
When deleting the error and restarting it, then the programs runs for sometimes 10min, sometimes 20min.. then the same error comes up again.

Does anybody have an idea where the problem could lie?

    Thank you!

    Hello
How does the controller knows what gear speed is switched on, through an end switch (of course it can also be contactless) .
Or maybe a cable breakage might be on hand?
What does the I/O card do?
Does the electronic plan say anything about the gears?

    Hello
gear is controlled over tappets. Unfortunately I don’t have a clue what all the cards are doing..
A cable would be possible but not very logical as the error only happens every once a while.
I am completely helpless. Sometimes it works and sometimes it turns off immediately...
    Regards

    Hey

Maybe the contact of the end switch is dirty? -> Clean it with contact spray. (oil in the switch?) Machine cold/warm impact, maybe the hall is cold, Monday morning?
Sensing distance of the switch OK?
When does the error occur? In the morning/afternoon????
Is there an electrician that might be able to connect a few LED (lamps) to see what the switches do or in what position they are when the error occurs.

When does the error occur- in what gear speed?

Check the electrical diagram, and find the sensor/sensors for gearchange.
    Locate them, and check them.
The fault is that the control the control looses the signal from the sensor... So either the sensors is defect, or the cable.
It can also be a mechanical/hydraulic problem, that forces the gear out of range...
