Default 30hp submersible elevator motor for phase converter?

I have EZ30S1BZ NIDEC motor. I'd like to use it to power my fadal 15xt. It is an open frame design and it only has one bearing on one end.
My thought was machine a cap eith a bearing for the pump end, build a small tank for the motor, and enjoy a quiet phase converter.
Has anyone dealt with this type of motor or see any flaws with my idea?

What is the Hp of your spindle motor, what ever that is you need the RPC to be double the Hp rating of the spindle motor

It is a 15 hp peak 10 hp continuous.

The motor you show in the photo is only 10Hp that would not be big enough to drive your mill, plus a RPC must have a balanced power output to run a CNC machine

You would need a 30Hp RPC and a Single phase supply that could run it, you may get away with a 25Hp RPC

It's a bad picture but that is a 3 not a 1. The model number also lists it as a 30 hp via web search.

Then that would be fine if you can get it all together and get a balanced output on all 3 phases
