    Default Leeson SM series VFD

I've installed a haugyang with a 3ph air compressor and it works good. But I'm in the process of retrofitting my mill with a centroid acorn controller. The motor is a leeson 2hp 3ph. the VFD is a Leeson SM series. I've looked over the schematics for the acorn. And the manual for the vfd. I'm stumped. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Which part are you stumped on?

Look at page 17, Two Wire Start Stop Control, of the Leeson manual. Then look at the generic VFD drawing from the Centroid documents.

The Analog VFD control from the Centroid connects to terminals 5 (+) and 2 (-)

You only need to relay output from the Centroid to run the VFD, Terminal 1 RUN (forward), and Terminal 13A (Reverse), connect the Signal Input Reference (common) as shown on the Centroid drawing.

It worked. Terminals 1 fwd and 13A rev. Terminals 2 and 5 and 11. was also used on the VFD. 300 rpm on high pulley pulled 6.5hz and 4500 rpm pulled 80hz. About 3100 rpm wad 60hz. So Thank You, MR Jim Dawson.
