If nobody replies, remind me in about 12 hours and I'll measure mine tonight.

Unfortunately, when I went to leave work yesterday, the battery in my truck was dead, which led to a two hour ordeal to get home, followed by an hour to change the battery, make dinner, and go to sleep.
    I'll get the info tonight.

My HY 3KW VFD is 5"wide, 7 inches tall and 6 inches deep. Pretty sure the 2.2 and the 3K are the same size.

I'm sure you are aware, but make sure you have enough room around the drive, this is just a manufacturer's guide they can have less room than this though, plus room for the EMI power filter I like this TDK EMI filter as it performs better than most others

Thanks, as usual i don't have the luxury to have the space i'd like. It's going to be a tight squeeze. Reason i asked for the hy is not because i plan to use one, just in case a customer insists i use/install one

OK, It's about 130mm wide, 170mm tall, and is about 160mm deep from the back plate.

Which is basically the same size as Halfnutz. In inches, I had 5" x 6-3/4" x 6". But I figured that you'd prefer mm's.

I do honestly i am no good at working in inches!!

The chinese drive i bought today almost matches that size. That leaves the option to fit a hy if required. I recently had a 2.2Kw hy in my workshop, was going to take sizes but completely forgot

    Thanks for the info

Hitachi is another one that is used quite a lot, so if you can fit these, then you should be able to fit anything else that is out there in that power rating of your cabinet

Inches to millimeters is very easy 5" x 25.4=127mm or if you want inches ( not likely ) 127mm / 25.4=5"
