You need to wire the Tach output on the Super PID to an Input on your breakout board, and assign it to the Index input in Mach3.
Hi all,
Just trying to install a Super PID on my DIY CNC Router. I have a Bosch 1617EVS router and have installed the optical sensor and it appears to be work as I can see the RPM's on the LCD.
I have been able to configure Mach3 to turn the router on and off. I can't get Mach3 to display the spindle RPM's.
I have the chinese DB-25 BOB.
If someone could tell me which inputs/outputs to use on the BOB and how to set up Mach3 for this, I'd appreciate it.
I have followed the directions from SuperPID instructions, page 23, "PC speed control using PWM signal".
Thanks in advance,
Randy B.

I have the same setup and can only send the requested speed to the SPID, Never been able to see the actual running speed in mach 3 only whats displayed on the SPID display.
