The dropp occurs when the tool is innserted in spindle and arm releases to early causing the tool to drop before jaws will grip. Most often it grip the tool before loosing it but i can see in slowmotion video the arm pulls back and tool falls about 3-5mm before jaws will catch it upp. Is there any parameter to adjust so it whait for the jaws before pullback? You should be hearing loud bangs changing the tool for weeks.
ATC should be re-adjusted.
You're lucky if the gripping collet is not damaged.
There is a special home position for the tool change. Minimum you need add some amount to Z but normally all the ATC should be adjusted. X and Y are also very important preventing gripping collet damage.
On OSP5000M the home position is under machine system parameters.
What about the arm allignment with tool in the pot?
Cant tel If it has ben bangs before i have just purcased it.
Shuld the bang occur when the tool is insertet or when it is pulling out then? I have ordered new jaws to see If it will fix the problem. But I want to be sure to have main problem solved först. Thanks
I will soon post video on yt once it ben uploaded
Looks like the machine was not aligned at the new place. Leveling is important. If machine not leveled, the guiderails are not straight and wear quickly. Of course, no chance to achieve accuracy.
The tool magazine allignment - next. Then ATC adjustment. Starts with tool arm allignment with the tool in the magazine pocket and then adjustment of the tool change home position. Home position X and Y shoud ensure the tool axis matches spindle axis. Z is according the maintenance manual - gripping position.
The bang only accurs with tool insertion.
Big big minus to company who sold / installed the machine for you.
Lucky you if the X, Y guiderails not weared now.
