You must PATCH the spec code file.
You may need to unprotect the file to accomplish this.
    On non windows machines:
    Boot with SW switch ON
    DIR MD0:,PN:;P
    PROT FILENAME.CNC;U

PATCH FILENAME.CNC,PN: (displays file on panel)
    S1 (sector 1)
find the code to change...this long number is your spec code if you change your sheet sideways and convert the binary (4 bits + 4 bits) to hex (2 characters). ex: 0010 0011 = 23
    QUIT once finished changing.
    reboot the machine
This will change the spec code for test purposes. It will display TEST SOFTWARE when powering up.
This is intended for testing and of course software updates from Okuma are needed for a permanent change.
If you desire to reprotect the file, follow the same procedure but remaove the ;U from the PROT command.

    Merry Christmas!

Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Bye.... Sorry.
The only thing I could think of is to name each tool as a special tool needing to be hand loaded. The machine will then stop, release the door to allow manual toolchanging. Close and lock the door and press cycle start to continue.
