What should be or what is controlling #5EC?
Is there any way to check if it is working?

Locate all separate modules of your control and look if there are some indications that they are powered up.
What's the story? If machine was moved from one workshop to another or what?

Which modules you mean? I'm sorry but I'm not an expert on this.. Yes, as I know the machine has been moved from a workshop. I just bought it.
The software has been allready reinstalled.

Nice story. Have you seen it working?
Without knowledge of the control design you shoud check all modules on the bus.
Do you have the docummentation ( OSP Data Management Card ) and diagrams of this machine?
