Our Okuma LR10-M had a bl-ms125e-60t driven tooling motor that just recently had a magnet come off and wrecked the insides of motor, So do any okuma experts on this forum know if it possible to replace original motor with bl-ms125e-60tna or bl-ms125e-30t motors, The cost of replacement from okuma is more than machine is worth.
Thanks
Thanks very very helpfull
What is the price of the motor?
Might be worth at least a try, they can't be that far apart.

They want approx £15,000 for motor , The lathe only cost us about £12,000 4 years ago
What is the source of these motors you quote, ??

Motors are on ebay
You could check with the seller and confirm they have the same motor connector configuration

I have thanks, Already purchased the 60tna motor
That seems way over priced. I just looked at one on eBay for about USD$1300. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Okuma-BL-MS...-/303113991458
Just yesterday I ordered a complete new 7.5kW servo motor, drive, and all cables, to replace my lathe spindle motor, for about USD$3300. Automation Direct.
