Check the orange ( optic ) cables by interchanging.
Warning points to W-axis. You can bypass the SVP of W-axis and machine should start.
During boot we are getting this message.
All lights are light on the control panel they keypad for letters responds and there is a command prompt.
We have checked all the SVP boards for obvious problems re-seated.
SVCII board has no damage visible.
Any ideas where to start?

Thanks for the reply.
I checked and re-seated all the optic cables none had visual damage, no change. I will try interchanging them next.
How do I bypass the SVP of the W-axis? Nothing actually says W-axis and I can't tell what wires run from the W axis into the SVP. I don't have any documentation that tells me what cables are going where.
oh, then the "W" in the alarm message stands as the part of message . . . It's evident your machine is equipped with three SVP modules only. The vicinity of damage of optical cable is rare. You can check them holding both ends in hands and shining the light to one end. This test, however doesn't tells much about communication quality. The easiest way is to interchange cables and bypass one module making one cable "spare". Take care - optical cables are easily broken if bent too much.
Update post, turned out we lost our sub spindle drive we got it replaced and back in business.
