hi, as shown below, i have until 16, but discontinued; i am sorry, i really have no clue about that error, and i have no experience with your type of machine ... i would check the x range/limits of the machine, both parameters and real travel ... it may be required to release the mf safety switch from the electrical cabinet

is your turret between posts ? is there an incomplete index ? can you check T coordinate an compare it to a list of index positions ? can you rotate the turret by pulse handle ? kindly

    Code:
    1243 Turret rotation
Turret indexing was attempted when the turret indexing conditions are not met.
    XX
1 ->A turret index command was issued when the facing or OD tool clamp confirmation signal was OFF.
2 ->A T-command was issued when the touch setter is in advance position.
3 ->On the FTL machine, the Z-axis is located in a negative position beyond the interference position.
4 ->On the machine with Y-axis function, a turret index command was issued while the YS-axis is lower than
    the spindle center.
5 ->On the machine with NC turret, the simple tow-along tailstock is in connection.
8 ->A turret index command was issued while the YS-axis was located, in the machine coordinate system,
lower than Spindle CENTER POSITION specified by the system parameter.
12 ->On the machine equipped with C-axis zero offset function by laser sensor, a turret index command was
issued when the laser sensor retract confirmation input was OFF.
13 ->The turret index instruction which is divided impossibility was performed by the state which attached
long tool (tool variety setting at ML with do tool) to turret T1 or the state which attached touch sensor of a
    measure within a machine specification.
14 ->When a long tool (tool type: ML) was mounted in the turret T1, a turret index command was issued with
    the shutter closed.
15 ->The turret rotation interlock against special long tool was activated because turret rotation was
attempted with a special long tool mounted on the turret.
16 ->Turret rotation was attempted during spindle rotation.
    [Probable Faulty Locations]
1 ->A turret index command was issued while a tool was projected for tool change or manual tool
    loading/unloading.
Malfunction occurred in the proximity switch for checking clamping condition of facing/OD tool.
The signal wire from the proximity switch is damaged.
The hydraulic solenoid valve for clamping face/OD tool is broken.
8 ->A turret indexing command was issued while the Y-axis is in a negative position in Y-axis mode.
12 ->A turret index command was issued with the laser sensor located in advance position, or the laser
sensor retract confirmation LS is at fault.
    [Related Specifications]
    - ATC , multiple machine , Y axis
    - C-axis origin offset by the laser sensor, good partner detection

is your turret between posts ?
No, the turret fixed in 1st tool
is there an incomplete index ?
    I think no
can you check T coordinate an compare it to a list of index positions ?
    Did not try
can you rotate the turret by pulse handle ? kindly
    No
I pressed to rotate button but turret not rotate.
The X limit is eluminte (yellow led) in the operator panel and no any message.
Z axis moving is working, X not work.\

This is usually caused by programming error or else interlock violation.

Can you show code where it occurs and give more detail?

Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    The problem solved!
Big operator's foot pressed this switch.
After the release of this switch all became in order.
Thank you to all for answer!

hi, why did the operator put the foot inside the machine ? just asking ...

also, when that switch is not retracted, doesn't z axis accelerate & breake much slower ? thus in a visible way, breaking motion still going on ( for almost 1 second ), after pushing z-left or z-right arrow, on the panel ? if so, then this could be a hint, in order to avoid future similar situations / kindly

hello, i recently was in an identical situation, on a newer machine, and it errored out "1259 tow along tailstock connect" ... because the text was self-explanatory, i looked imediatly at that switch, so to retract it back

if errors don't have a nice explanation, then is possible to lose a lot of time, trying to figure it out / kindly
