    Default Auto power shut off

    Hello all.
    Okuma MA40HA year 2000 whit OSP U100M.
I have a question regarding the automatic power shut off option. Seems my machine has got it but I can´t figure out how to enable it.
I cant find a button on the panel, nor by the main switch. I have looked at the switch and it seems to be the type for auto power off.
It is not the power save I´m after, that works fine.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks.
    /Samuel

I have now looked into the parameters and found where I can enable the power shut off. I can also chose whether an alarm should trip the power off. And then a time parameter, that delays the shut off. It works, but do I need to change that parameter every time I want to use this function?
    Thanks.

You do not have to set the parameter every time. Set it and forget it.

Should auto power off after reaching M2 or M30 once timer has elapsed. I suggest the timer to be set over 3 minutes to ensure full backup has occurred after cycle is complete.

Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Thanks for the reply.
Normaly I dont want it to auto power off, just some times when leaving workshop whit machine running. I have seen that some models have a button somewhere to easy turn this on and off.
In my case, then I have to change the parameter when I want it to power off and then next time uncheck the parameter to make it not?
    Thanks.

Yes usually there is a toggle switch on the side of the machine to turn it on and off. If you don’t have it but have the option then you will need to set the bit to make it active. A schedule program would allow you to make x number of parts and then shut down. I’m guessing without auto loading you will not need it. You’ll run both pallets and shut down.

Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
