    Default OKUMA MC-4VA hydraulic unit parameters, pipe connections

    Hello there!
    Recently acquired MC-4VA machining center with some minor problems, biggest of all- there is no hydraulic station (power unit) on machine (was removed due to dead pump). Manual says original is PARKER HANNIFIN PU26144, but I cant find any information on it. I would like to know what is pump flow rate required for this machine? This would help me to find a replacement (have a couple of hydraulic power units from other machines). Other question is about pipe connection- have some uncertainty here. Where does P and T lines that goes from hydraulic unit are connected on machine side? In attachment there is a photo with terminal plate- one nipple there is broken. What pipe connects there? Maybe someone can take a photo of his machine?
    Would really appreciate Your help.
    p.s. Machine is year 1985 or 1986 if this is somehow useful. Two MC-4VA parts book I have on my PC are a little different, so this means there was some changes.

    P=pressure. T=tank
    Tank would be return or drain line. Those units were about 750 psi but I’m not sure the flow rate. I’m guessing 10-15 gpm on typical hydraulic system. They didn’t need a lot of hydraulics to run them.

    I am not sure on the connections. In your maintenance manual there should be a hydraulic diagram that should give you some clues of the routing.

    Best regards,

    Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Ok, thanks. Now at least I know what should be the approximate flow rate for power unit. On connections it seems there will be only one way- looking at the hydraulic circuit and going through all pipes on machine.
