hello if you wish to provide an alternative, and people to use it, it must behave faster than whatever it is out there, or at least faster the common methods, and more affordable comparing it to specialized methods ...

for example : if someone enters all those coordiantes inside igf, will definetly get the code faster

yes, you can do the math, but, you need to beat current methods

xls is ok for some stuff, but for rad comp, igf is faster ...

think about a method that is faster than igf, like an okuma dedicated G-code converter, with fast cad

if control unit hasn't radius comp spec, you can't use G41 or G42 codes.
IGF generate code with G41 or G42.

Some control units may not support radius compensation.
and igf is not installed in some control units.

I am altering the deal, pray I don't alter it further.

aha, i see : what do you think about a macro inside autoCAD ? thus to draw it there, click a button, choose radius + P, and generate compensated code ?

    find a sexy L . I . S . P teacher; she will help you, unless you don't alter the deal

or try your luck with software dealer ?

with help from a trained person, i guess this could be done in a few days

until then, stick to xls / kindly

    ... https://www.cnczone.com/forums/autodesk-cam/

or on an oficial autodesk/autocad forum ? maybe someone has a clue about how to do it

hello again, i have looked a bit more over your xls

you definetly need a more performant coding enviroment

i mean, even if it works, i believe that you can do much more than that

also, i really don't know how many people will actually use it ...

somehow i also deal with the same thing, but i develop most of the stuff for my self, and, for now, i don't bother if someone else uses another method ... i don't know ...

    this is a bit high-specific

about using macro inside autocad, i have my own cad, and it is working nice for 2d toolptahs, but, in the end, you have to think about the goal that you are after ... at this moment i don't really have time to show my methods, even if i know that some of them are fast ... all i wish is to improve my level, and deliver things faster ...

you are pretty good with osp encription

at some moment you have to decide if you wish to use your custom tools for youself, or try to convice others to also use your tools ... convincing others to change their approach requires patiance and skill / just saying

draw it there, click a button, choose radius + P, and generate compensated code ?
this is a part of what i do, but is not my single approach for comp codes

toolpath code is put inside a turning template, which has translations factors, accordingly to desired comp quadrant

file is sent to the machine

at the machine i select and run the program, but, for the future, i wish only to run the program, not also to select it, but at this moment i don't know how to do this

for common stuff, it is pretty fast / kindly
