Default please, 2 questions about milling on lathe ...

hello, please, is it possible :
... to use imaginary vectors in CZ plane ?
    ... C axis going on shortest path, without M15 / M16 ?

    kindly

hello past self of my self

KI are imaginary vectors for ZC axis

about C going on shortest path, i had a problem with this code "G00 Z C G42": sometimes it would spin the chuck with a full revolution, even if it was allready positioned where it should be

like this, if the difference between "C actual position" and "C compensation position" was only 0.001, depending on side, C may move only with 0.001, or the other way arround, thus with 359.999

i tried to use droop control, but it did not work

in the end, i did this :

    G00 Z C=compensation_position-0.1
    G00 Z C G42 M15

and like this, any time C axis will move to the compensation position, it will spin with 0.1±0.001 degrees

purpose behind all these was to eliminate auxiliary movements when entering or exiting the compensation

    kindly
