Default is it possible to override rapid feed ?

hello, on mill, i would override rapid feed when moving among X or Z

for example, i had a heavy part, and if rapid was fast on Y, than table would move too fast with that heavy part on it, so i slowed down the rapid feed; thus, all axis performed slower, but this was required only on Y, while X and Z could go full speed

please, is it possible such a trick ? kindly

hello there is a gang lathe in the house, from citizen ; it was a bit bumpy during repositioning

    check this :

    Code:
        M350 X15000 Y15000 Z15000 override maximal rapids : enabled
        M360 X3 Y3 Z3 override rapid acc/decc : enabled; acceleration and decceleration is 3x slower than default
        // some linear movement
M361 override rapid acc/decc : disabled; defaults restored
M351 override maximal rapids : disabled; defaults restored

    *M351 and M350 X35000 Y35000 Z35000 are equivalent
    *M361 and M360 X1 Y1 Z1 are equivalent
i hope someday Okuma will allow acces, from code, to such parameters / kindly !

    this is read only variable
hy kurmay, it seems to a bit confusing : there are places where the variable is described as read-only, but also in other places it is described as read-write

    i will see ...

each rapid feedrate data for all axis in the ***.PBU file.
maybe edit this file for y axis rapid feedrate data but it will be very dangerous.
you must backup if you will try
    good to know

    (18) F1-digit Parameter Accel./Decel. Data
    VPF1C
    Setting range: 0 – 4000000
The acceleration/deceleration data of the F1-digit parameter can be read/written.
The acceleration/deceleration data is usually set for NC optional parameter (long word) No. 22.
The data is read or written in the minimum unit system.

i guess that long word is not read-only i guess i will test this someday ...
