Unhappy M151 Holding piece in both chucks and lathe from Second chuck. HOW?

We Have this option on our Multus B400W
    G140 L spindle mode selection
    M110 L spindle C axis mode ON
    G00 C30 C axis positioning
VCPHH=90 Specify phase diff L-R spindle 90 degrees
M892 C axis mode ON for opposite spindle
M248 Chuck clamp on Right spindle
    M889 C axis synchronization ON
    G00 C100 C axis movement with synchronization
    M13 SB=100
    G01 C200 F1000 G94 C axis movement with synchronization
    G00 C0
    M888 C axis synchronization OFF
    M12
M249 Chuck unclamp on right spindle
M891 C axis mode OFF for opposite spindle
    M109 L spindle C axis mode OFF

This is the model above our agent sold to my boss...
this is the model i need to convert so that i can ...

Take a piece from main spindle,(left)
Pass it over to the Sub spindle,(right)
    Hold it with both spindles,
Then lathe a thread along the work piece (now sitting between both spindles).
Cut it FREE from Main spindle,
Sub spindle with work piece (W) now moves home and away,
leaving the Robot to go into the machine to retrieve the finished piece from the Sub spindle, (yes there will be a small piece left in the main spindle, this i can remove with the robot or machine)

How Do i convert this model to do what i want?
i cant see how i would fit G141 into this as i want to use the Sub spindle when i create the thread.
Please help out a newbie with no help.
piece needs to be done and our agent is not replying to me.
i have to say he is a good guy and helpful but he just aint there for me as much as i would like.

We Have this option on our Multus B400W
    what option do You have?
    M110 L spindle C axis mode ON
    why You need C axis?
are You sure, that M889 and M888 are usable here? I'm asking, because I don't know. I imagine this operation quite different way.
You need to have possibility to synchronize both already synchronized to each other spindles to Z feed to cut thread that way. Are You sure, that You have that option on Your machine?

Well we dont need C really but we could certainly use
VCPHH=90 Specify phase diff L-R spindle 90 degrees.

this model i have originaly written in my first thread question simply is the model purchased for the machine.
every code you see here SHOULD be fully functional.
all we need to do i guess is hold with both spindles and then set them in rotation synchronised.

Multus will ALWAYS have C axis. C axis Sync is an option. I have turned a center in the sub spindle and used torque skip to seat the center and driven the part with the main. You might be able to do the same, not with a center but clamped with the sub. Beware this will be hard on the main spindle.

"Beware this will be hard on the main spindle. "

And the sub spindle as you are essentally taking the preload of the subspindle bearings by using ut as a Centre

Great to see you guys talking over my problem.
Well i am back after a failed attempt to reach Mexico.
Got stuck in England which was pretty good fun in the end.
Now i return to see our multus with no M spindle in it???
seems the coolant was not good and fried the bearings, 4 weeks out of action.
this delays my trials even further but lets see this as positive as i should be fully armed with you information for test day.

You talk about stressing the sub spindle but as i will be working the peice from main spindle and then passing it over to the sub spindle i have no choice do i?
after all i need to hold the peice in the sub spindle ready for the robot to take it out, after placing a new peice in the main spindle.
Very curiouse to see how your program would look to do this
both using the sub as a dub (dub in sub)
also as a gripping sub which is what i need.
thanks for your interest in this post.

    you say
"Beware this will be hard on the main spindle. "
this is what we need, surely the machine should cope with this.
are they driving together or is one just free running, being turned by the opposite spindle.
i thought they were both driving at the same time but synchronised?

Turning between synchronized spindles is fine.

Synchronized Milling between spindles is an option that we don't have, but using the sub as slave has worked fine so far.

We have been told by Okuma to use 30% load on W axis (sub), when setting the transfer position. That seemed a lot to me, especially if we start doing lots of billeted or cast work.

You can see milling between spindles here, [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asG5DL0y1AE"]YouTube- Okuma Multus B300 Screw Milling[/nomedia] (master/slave), but not the synchronized turning (too boring!).

    hy manhtranc

they want me to turn .... a part between both spindle
both spindles must have found their S origin, so jog each spindle ( or turn each one by hand ), just a couple of revolutions, like 2-3 max spins, so to get rid of CD****

manual mode, clamp your part with both chuck

    G140
    G50 S2000
    M151 M210 M883
    G97 S250 M03
if it works, then continue with normal turning codes

and milling a part between both spindle
manual mode, clamp each chuck with individual parts, thus don't use long part yet

    G140
    M110
    M892

if it works, then more codes and parameter related to C origins, are needed before using normal milling codes ( i will try to help you with them ); if it does not work, pls share error and image with setup ( will try an alternative method ) / kindly

we are merely at the start of " Internet of Things / Industrial Revolution 4.0 " era : a mix of AI, plastics, human estrangement, powerful non-state actors ...
