Default what backploter for a Trevisan

I'm running a Goss Trevisan DS600 and I REALLY need a good backplot utility. The problem is the Trevisan is pretty much both a 4 axis horizontal machining center and a lathe cause it has an integrated contour head. When I put a bar (boring, threading, ring grove tool, etc...) into the contour head after it positions to the hole I'm working on, only the U axis (contour head diameter) and the Z axis (column in and out) moves, it's effectively a lathe. When a tool is in the quill it's a 4 axis horizontal machining center (X,Y,Z,B).

We also run a 300, 450, 600, 900, and 1200. We have the same issue..
What do you program yours with? We use Esprit and this is our biggest issue with posting out files..

Change your UD move to X in the NC file and then backplot
