i'll take you up on the invite sometime , it would be great if you could give me a few pointers on the warlock i plan to build at some point that my attention span will allow , i can play them suckers a lil bit but i don't know crap about building them

in regard to the one at skinner how fine do you machine the surface before polishing , it's been my experience that a few tenths too deep can really show on a shiney aluminum surface , so i've been thinking either you leave very little before polishing or in a past life was possibly a mold maker and you are really patient and good at hand polishing , or both

The rad's are cut with router bits, and when I set up the first one, I take my time when blending the tool in, and I will if anything err on the side of caution. The guy who does the chrome, does any blending required. I like to keep my shop clean so polishing wheels dont' really go with that environment.

The Rad on the back side is run along the neck joint to make access to the higher frets unobstructed too. It plays stellar although people complain about the weight.

It's still lighter than my LP Custom.

Default Looking for guitar body DXFs

    Hello,
Can anyone point me to a source (paid or free) where I can download dxfs of popular guitar body styles (Fender, Gibson, etc)?
    Thanks!

Do a search here for guitars. Someone posted a link that goes to several dozens of pages, many of which have dxg, dwg or raster plans.

If you cut it to small you can always nail another piece on the end, but if you cut it to big... then what the hell you gonna do?

    Default Lots of drawings

Good to see the thread revived.
If you get a PDF it can be converted into a DXF
