Wink Can't Find Good Telecaster CNC Files

    Hello All,

I am starting a build to make a telecaster and I have been looking for files every where. The thread everyone seems to direct to is ehawley's but the files don't seem to be there any more and when I did seem to find those files, they didn't seem to be right(drill holes in weird places) does anyone have good telecaster files with all the correct tool paths and drill holes? Thank you so much in advance because I would do it myself but I am very experienced in using a CNC and I haven't had time to learn the software yet.

    Thank you!

Okay Ill try to give you as much info as I can.
The cnc is my schools and I don't know too much about it, but I know the amount of space it can like carve is quite large so that isnt an issue, The software it uses is RhinoCAM, but i believe we can also use autocad. And the version tele I am going for is really anyone that has the best files, I am waiting to order certain parts till I know what type, but The pickups I think im getting are the Fender Tex-Mex ones which I believe are pickguard mounted. I want pretty much just the standard tele. Does that help at all?

Here is my question, are you seeking the Tele CAD or G code ? have you made one from a template?

    Been doing this too long

The dxf files are out there as well as models. You’ll have a hard time finding g code since every machine as well as machinist, hobby or not, do things differently

Why not learn how to model the tele in Rhino or some other 3 d program based on the DXF's that are out there? That way you'll know it is done right. All you need to do is get the top view and make it into a planar surface. Next extrude it to 1.75" thick. Then do the same for all the routs and subtract them from the body.

It's a school project. Learn it at school as your final project. Having someone else give it to you won't teach you a thing. Many of us here have spent years developing our craft designing guitars on our own and the same amount of time designing our own necks, bodies, bridges, etc. I can't speak for the other guys here but I would be happy to help you figure out a tricky blend, a design question, or toolpath. But I'm not going to give away my work.

Buy the plans from Georgia Luthiers supply or elsewhere,
read the prints and make guitars
    Sounds easy ?
Yeah it is once you learn to do CAD / CNC
