Default Anybody interested in exchanging services?

    Hi guys,

Here's the thing...I'm an expert in CAD design and CNC programming, and for the last few months i've been designing loads of musical instruments.

I would really like to make one of these designs come to life, but I don't have the skill, time, equipment, or budget to order one from a real machine shop.

So, I offer 3D CAD designs (and in some cases G-Code ready to roll on Mach 3 Mill), in exchange for a completed instrument.

I have a lot of models designed, Les Paul, Strat, SG, Ibanez Iceman, different bass models, mandolins, archtops, acoustic necks... and a lot more.

I offer royalty free files, that you can use however you want. You can become a millionaire, I don't care, I just want one guitar.

PM if you're interested and we can discuss.

    Thanks for reading.

I like to talk to you about doing some projects for me.

I think I need to enroll in an architectural engineering program. When I'm done, I can build bridges and get over anything.

Only thing is I have a small mini CNC only used for inlay right now. I make all my guitars by hand right now. I just got comfortable with 2d cad/cam let's keep in touch

The most important thing now is to get your designs on paper to s can into a vector format.
The actual CNC and cutting work is easy.
And also I have met the fretboard inlay master CNC shop at the Nashville NAMM show.
Any design you want from him. incredible detailed work.

...you just want a body and a neck? that should be a breeze if you have the files ready.
We don´t need any toolpathes, just the 2D and 3D models preferably as iges for accuracy.
(but illustrator, corel or rhino files are ok too) However we are located in germany.

Yep, just save the solid model as .iges, or a .stp for Mastercam, and the programming is easy. Good luck on the project. Some pool cue makers make guitar's also. Bob Thompson might be interested. Google Bob Thompson cues. Rod.
