    Default Stratocaster Pickguard

    Hello!

I am working on a guitar, and I need to design a custom pickguard for it. Does anyone have an existing AutoCAD file that I could modify and pass on for laser cutting? This is for a 2008 Fender Squier Stratocaster Affinity. I have Googled and googled, and I have looked through these forums, but I have had trouble finding a pickguard file.

    Hello hh73,
Here are two zipped dxf strats with pickguard included and one pdf of four pages if you can convert it, I think there will be no problems to make your custom made pickguard with these files, hope it will be of some help.

I know this was a long long time ago, but I just happen to find this old topic from a Google search. I was wondering, do you have a Jaguar and Jazzmaster pdf like these?

Try the fender website it is a source
If you can find a PDF of the original,
problem now solved convert to DXF
if not, digitize an existing pickguard.

I looked around on the site and couldn't find anything. I searched went to every tab and couldn't find anything. If you have a better idea than I sure would love the help. Thanks.

To steal from many is research.

Thanks that did help me locate the area where the diagrams were thank you, but I needed one for a Jaguar and Jazzmaster. Those just seem to be basic hand manuals and not specifically for the pick guards.

you don´t need to convert the PDF into dxf! You can load the file direct into Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Rhino! As it is a VECTOR format it will open and you can do whatever you want with it.....scale, covert into iges, dxf ....etc.
Please note that the fender diagramms are PDF but not scaled and if scaled they are not accurate. For example the dimensions will not fit if 1:1...
The best aproach is to get hands on the real thing and do the drawings from there!
