The real question is: Is it a real fault, shown on the inverter display, or does the controller just think it's getting a fault signal from the inverter? The former may be a problem with the inverter, the latter could be just a loose wire.
Keep getting "System Interrrupt: Inverter Fault".
Machine has a Yaskawa GPD 506/P5 Inverter.
I am sure the dust in cabinet hasn't helped, have cleaned out cabinet and inverter but problem seems to be gradually getting worse. Used to happen once a day and now it happens every couple sheets I cut.
Any suggestions would be great.

The Inverter is showing EF3 - Ext Fault 3
I did check to make sure all the terminals were tight on the inverter. Next I guess I should probably check the whole panel for loose wires.
That being the case, I would check the electrical diagrams to see what terminal triggers an external fault on the inverter. Then follow that wire back to the source.

What wire is going to terminal 3 on the inverter?
And what model machine do you have?
