Check all of your connections in that circuit to make sure they are tight.

That lose connection at 3001, if it was just sitting there on the contact could have been shorting out the electrical enough to cause a lost of Modbus connection with the control board. Lets see what happens.

When you enable your drives are the drives lights flashing rapidly, it they are flashing rapidly then the drives are ok. You indicated in a earlier post that the machine is telling you no inverter is specified.

Seems like modbus isn't seeing your inverter

You can check to see if modbus is detecting anything by going into the service menu

    push your shift key
    then your ? key
hit your action key and hold until you see a S show up in the bottom right hand corner of the keypad

    Once that shows up

    hit your menu key
    scroll down to service selection
you can scroll down and select test modbus, that will go thru and check to see what modbus device is found

if nothing is found I would check to see if your modbus cable has a break and needs to be replaced or is it your ATCB board that has a problem

    Dear Sir,
I have multi cam cnc router 5000 series.
There was a problem in Z servo motor. its giving noise.
I replace the bearings of the motors. its become smooth.
But after replacing the bearings now machine giving error
    Motor fault 4 z
    Count Blink 5

I swap the motor with y.
the error shifted to y axis.

    I am in Dubai.
I call to multi-cam technical personnel. They ask me to replace the motor.
Motor is ok i think the encoder have problem or its adjustment have some problem.
Is there any solution in your mind.
Or you have used motor in stock.
    Motor is MCG 3486-ME4698-F.

    Thanks

    Afternoon Azhar.

With a blink count 5, it is very likely that it is a mechanical issue. Encorder error are usually blink count 9.

You still have a mechanical problem. This could be problem with the gearbox, I would swap the gearboxes, take one of the gearboxes from one the X sides and see if the error moves,

If the error stays on the same servo motors then you will have to replace the motor, and I would send one in for repair.

I do have 2 refurbished servo motor available later this week should you need one.

    Dear Sir,
Glad to see your reply. There is the issue in encoder. The glass inside the encoder is broken.
    The motor of z axis.
There is no gear in z axis.
Can you tell me where i can get the encoder.
    Or you have.
Also please give me the price of motor which you have and how long its take time from usa to uae.

    Thanks

I forgot all about that the servo motor was the Z-axis and not the Y, my apologies.

As for the encoder, send me a pic of the numbers on the encoder, my servo rebuilder will have these instock or can direct me where to order and I can forward that info to you.

Pricing for the servo is 675.00 USD plus shipping, and shipping cost is dependent on how quick you would like it shipped.

    Good day,

I am experiencing an encoder fault. The display shows Servo fault and the servo is blinking 9 times.

What would you advise as the best course of action?
