multicam 1000 series problem in control KDM20 V1.37 SN=7356

Hi
My machine is multicam 1000 series wood cut
please i need help, this problem happens while am doing warming up for spindle then timer in the control show 5:21 and control forzed, i turned machine off by mail switch and then i turned it again showed this message in the control LCD.
please how can i fix it :,(

sorry don have a Skyp account, that a pic and post of your control cabinet. Also when you home out the machine, the inverter comes on with out any fault correct?

yes you are right the inverter comes on with out any fault, i think the problem with setting ,is there any setting or file i must put it inside Motion Control or something like that?

Cant be the inverter is programmed internally, and should not change. Plus the spindle warm up is a internal program to the controller not motion control. When you request the spindle warm up, what shows up on the keypad.

its showed timer down 5min
after u pressed enter to warm up the keypad showed warming up 6000 RPM and timer suddenly freeze at 4min:21sec ,then i shutdown the machine from main switch and turned it again showed that message (KDM20 v1.37) , but when when i pressing the arrow key spindle is moving and the machine get the order from keypad but the information not showed in keypad LCD just (KDM20 v1.37) nothing else.

What is your incoming power are you single or three phase. Then check to see how your transformer is tapped, if your voltage is lets say 212 then transformer should be tapped for 208, the 1000 series machine were always like to be tapped lower on the transformers.

So when you turn on the machine, nothing shows up on the keypad correct?

If you go thru the process of homing the machine, does it still hard home the machine, and if it does that can you use the directional keys and it still moves the machine.

no, but its only showing KDM20 V1.37 SN=7356 on the keypad display

yes its moving and going to home

Ok, the display is out. Unfortunately until Multicam starts accepting repairs again, your only alternative would be to buy a new or refurbished keypad.

I have the same problem on my 5000 series . It only shows (KDM20 V1.10SN=814. Can’t even move the machine any solutions
