Default Mori Seiki CV-500 connection with PC...

    Hello everyone,
I'm working with a Mori Seiki CV-500, and unfortunately they are a neophyte in this field (I am a Computer Engineer).

I ask you, what is the easiest way to transfer a program from a PC to the machine? Of course it's the serial port, but I tried it and I from 'always error (usually framing error).

First, I have to use that port, the NC or the GOP? What is the difference between the two?

You have to use some special program to transfer or you can simply copy the from a DOS window on the com port?
Of course I tried to set symmetrically in all parameters with which baud rate, stop bits, parity, etc ... but me 'always mistake ...

And what about the cable for connection on rs232 port? It's correct this cable:

Machinery RS232 communications settings for CNC controls including fanuc and mitsubishi

Thanks in advance to those who want to help me ...

    Greetings...

    A:I

    Mitsubishi Control...
Those early ones don't actually use the GOP for comm. Any serial program should work, framing error could be stop bit and word length not matching. All parameters for that should be in the Mitsubishi manual.
