Question Mori Seiki SL1 Yasnac 2000B Alarm 28

After having been producing parts daily with no issues, after having been sitting powered down for less than a week my SL1 wont fully power up. It did initially, but X wouldnt zero return. Now I cant get past alarm 28 which the manual describes as "system unready". It has been really cold for the past week, maybe that's an issue? Help please!

Leave it on for a few hours then cycle the power and try again, old machines with old capacitors don't like the cold.

Did you try to reset all breakers in both cabinets. Machine unready can also be related to any overload or breakers that are tripped.

It seems that it was caused by relays failing to contact.

Hi the problem is related to mechanical initial conditions, the turret and chuck should be clamped. You can force the hydraulic valves, and clamp them.
