Let me get this correct. If you move an axis, it simply goes the wrong way, or is the axis physically jumping?
Problem started with the display would not advance. Program running position display or any of the display buttons would not function until program stop command.
LX2 was sent to Yaskawa for repair. It came back with the same problem. Sent it back, it returned with no crt display. Sent it back, it returned with the position display at every .328 of motion the display will jump .328 positive, continue to move axis same direction and it will jump .328 negative. Yaskawa cannot see the problem at there test and repair department. But they did program the control new eproms. The axes do not physically jump, and it is X and Z which act the same. The problem is present with pulse handle, manual jog buttons and in MDI. Does anyone have an SL1 that I could send boards to, in order to isolate the problem? Any address would be appreciated.
Thanks Rick

Axes move in correct direction and they do not jump. Only the display jumps at .328 it will add and then subtract travelling in the same direction.
Are you still struggling with this? Let me know I have an idea for you.
Thanks
Bob

Good Morning, by any chance do you have the electrical diagram for your Mori Seiki SL-1? I am willing to pay for a copy of it.
