1mm walls: Materials and mould specs
Hello, my company produces high quality scale replicas. We are planning to introduce a new range of small models that require wall thicknesses of ~1mm. What materials should we use for detail retention, flow capability and rigidity? I understand that PP has good flow characteristics for thin walls, but is 1mm out of their scope?
The second part of this question, is how should we plan and design our moulds to cater for the fine detail and thin walls? I should add that we are planning to purchase our own CNC and injection moulding plant (on a very small scale) so we can do in-house prototyping and eventually production. I posted a sort of introductory thread here:

Thanks, Steve
