    Default Mitsubishi Meldas M64S machines

    Hi,
We are looking to buy our first CNC machine and a well maintained 2005 Hartford Pro 1000a with a Mitsubishi Meldas M64S controller has come up for sale in our price range. I know only the absolute basics when it comes to CNC machines but what I do know are the parts I need it to make which are pretty complex 3d parts that need a good finish - see attached.
Is this machine/controller combo capable of this sort of work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Jason

    Gents,
Not sure if I've put this in the right spot? Maybe I should move it to the Mazak, Mitsubishi, Mazatrol forum?
    What are your thoughts?
    Kind regards,
    Jason

Hartford PRO 100o with M64 is good for die & mould machining. But again there are multiple factors which affect. The condition of motors and mechanical parts etc..

Thank you for the reply and information, that being the case it will certainly do what I want it to do.
The machine it self is in very good condition, about 3200 hours. I spoke with the Hartford tech who maintained the machine and he confirmed it's condition and service history.

Thats good.. I'd suggest the following

    1) Make sure you have the complete backup of the machines, fixed cycles, parameters, plc... etc.
    2) Monitor the axis load and current percentages, if they are ok or not. This can be seen in diagnosis ==> Servo monitor/ Spindle Monitor.
    3) Check the cabinet for any improper wirings. etc..
