Hi, I've made the basic ELS with some changes to the ELS-Boost design of Clough42.
I did this to accomplish an all-in-one compact sytem with the 3 PCB's.
Power through a simple 5V µUSB-plug.
External stepperpower supply can be a simple 24V/3A and for high speeds a 35V/5A max.

I made an external UPGRADES box for:
1) Motor alarm (Fault, Overtemperature, Stepper STALL)
2) EndStops (Chuck and Tail)
3) CNC-controller support for X-axis and EndStops(Xmin, Xmax) automatic switch when ELS is turned Off
4) Support for also cheap bipolar ClosedLoop Steppermotors:
a) OpenLoop with external DRV-stepperdriver,
b) ClosedLoop with external HybridServo or cheap MKS/Misfittech/Bigtreetech or similar driver.

But now I want an even smaller ELS-controller casing by making a bare minimum components pcb of the Texas Instruments LAUNCHXL-F280049C development board.
This should then only control the ELSboost pcb project.
I did ask James Clough for info some time ago on his circuitmaker site and latest video "ELS Software Updates" but no response.
In the LaunchXL datasheet page 16 to 21 are the schematics where I could already eliminate most of the parts.
I need help by pointing out what the ELS code is addressing on the board so I could prevent eliminating essential parts and functions?
