milltronics centurion 7 - Startup error 188

milltronic centurion 7

"runtime error 188 at 0010: 00e3"
picture attached

the car stops at any moment and I see this screen.
restart helps, but after a while it repeats.

Does anyone know this error?

You want that topmost error code, error 956.

In the Cent7 manual:

188 Also appears as error 956.
Interface card communication failure
Centurion 7 and 7000 Series only
CNC Version 238 and newer
NCB Firmware 3.19 and newer
No information was received from the interface card for 10 heartbeats
of the control, about .01 seconds.
CAUSES:
1. Fiber-optic cable loose.
2. Bad interface card.
3. Bad NCB card, since it must receive the information from the interface card.
4. Bad fiber-optic cable.
